22 Bishopsgate

22 Bishopsgate is changing London’s skyline as the tallest building in the city.

Project info

Still under construction, we are completing the shell and core mechanical and public health services installation throughout this new 62-storey, 278m high Bishopsgate tower, which is set to overtake the Shard as the tallest building in London.

We have been appointed the lead coordinator between the various mechanical and electrical services packages.

What we will be doing

The works include supplying, installing and commissioning the mechanical and public health services throughout the basement, roof, risers and three interstitial plant levels at 7, 25 and 41.

The mechanical services include both “express”, tenants and landlord LTHW, CHW and condenser water systems. 16MW of cooling will be provided by four 4MW water cooled centrifugal chillers located in the basement, with cooling provided by five cooling towers located at level 58.

Prefabricated off-site assemblies are being utilised throughout the risers and plantrooms.

Making visions a reality

With 3m floor to ceiling heights and low-iron glass allowing in 20% more daylight, the tower will maximise the incredible views across London. Alongside this, with its wellness centre, gym and social spaces, it’s set to change the nature of work, enhancing occupant health and wellbeing. This is also set to become the tallest building in London.

We offer a complete range of mechanical, electrical and public health services, always staying up to date with the latest industry thinking, and using the most innovative technologies.
