Project info
We were the lead coordinators and worked with the client team in delivery of the White Collar Factory project. Comprising part residential and part commercial development, the project consisted of the main tower building and adjoining low level buildings to the north of Old St within the “Silicone Roundabout”.
What We Did
The main tower included mass thermal cooling embedded in the concrete floors and a free cooling regime which was fundamental to the building achieving both BREAM excellent and LEED outstanding awards.
The building features a unique panoramic running track at roof level, around the perimeter of the building, necessitating the main roof plant being installed within a tight footprint above the building core.
Internally the M&E services were exposed at high-level. With the careful selection of materials and layout, the finished arrangement is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, allowing early occupation of the building following PC.
Making Visions a Reality
The completion of the White Collar Factory in the heart of ‘tech city’, resulted in the creation of modern people-centered spaces – from offices to restaurants, residential accommodation and roof terraces.
With high ceilings, an abundance of daylight, natural ventilation, unbeatable views of London and a unique rooftop running track, there is a definite focus on sustainability and wellness.
